Common questions

Is Korbs free?

Yes. Korbs is free today, with no in-app purchases. If I add a paid subscription later, it will be billed through Apple, and I'll explain the price and how to cancel clearly, before you're ever charged.

Do I need an account?

No. There are no Korbs accounts and no logins. Your family's information stays on your device, and in your own private iCloud if you turn on backup.

How do I back up or move to a new device?

In Settings → Back up to iCloud, turn the toggle on. Your data then syncs through your own end-to-end-encrypted iCloud, so you can pick up on another device signed into the same Apple Account.

How do I delete my data?

You can remove any child, food, or entry from within the app. To clear everything at once — from this device and your iCloud backup — use Settings → Delete everything. When it's gone, it's gone; I never kept a copy.

How is my child's information used?

It stays on your device. The only thing that leaves is a food name (and a short avoid-list) sent to generate Korbin's suggestions — never your child's name or anything that identifies your family. The full detail is in the Privacy & Terms.

Is the voice feature private?

Yes. Your child's speech is turned into text on the phone itself, and the audio is discarded. It never leaves the device.
